Batch data entry is traditional data entry. Data is typically read from a printed or handwritten source by the operator and keyed in. Furthermore, the keyed data is typically saved in records (or rows) in a file (or batch).

Typically, documents are shipped or faxed to our premises. Output is subsequently transmitted to the client or delivered by magnetic media.

Screen design

With our in-house software, we can whip up entry screens quickly keeping your setup charges down. Typically, our operators can be keying your data with as little as one hour setup.

Key or Key-Verify

We can key data from printed documents. Of course, a typewritten is more reliable (and cheaper) however, we also key from handwritten documents. In either case, of course, the documents must be legible to provide our accuracy guarantee.

Output Formats

We can write out your data to virtually any format desired--even multi-punch, which is still used in the market research industry.

A representative list: ASCII, Excel, Fixed text (Both PC and Unix), Delimited (CSV for Excel, tab for Macintosh or otherwise)

Note that we can also go one further and import your data into a database format for you. Simply provide us the record layout and your data will be ready-to-go upon delivery.

In addition, we often deliver name and address data in a format compatible with the most common contact managers like ACT!, Goldmine and Outlook.

Delivery methods

Your keyed data can be delivered to you however you like it.

The most common these days is over the internet via FTP (file transfer protocol). We can log into your server and push the data up, or we can setup a private and secure area on our ftp server. This way you pull down your data when it's most convenient for you.

Magnetic media is another option. Examples include: CD, DVD, floppy disk and DAT Tape. Other formats can be provided though an additional charge may apply.
